Homeschooling in Utah with Fits All?
Here's exactly how JyoLing fits your award.
Utah Fits All Scholarship
$4,000–6,000
home-based learners (reduced from $8,000)
Unlimited is $349.99 — but Utah is the one state where we'd point you at the monthly option first. Here's why.
● State program (administrator in transition) · status: Watching — program in legal limbo. Today, families buy by card at the identical public price.
Utah Fits All provides home-based learners $4,000–6,000 (reduced from the original $8,000) for curriculum, online programs, and other education expenses.
The honest situation: the program is in legal limbo. A district court found it unconstitutional under Utah's constitution, the case sits with the state supreme court, and funds continue flowing while it's decided. No vendor can tell you how that ends. What we can do is not ask you to bet a year on it: the $11.99 monthly option exists for exactly this kind of uncertainty, and there's no auto-renew trap on the annual either way.
What Utah families should know
The legal limbo, plainly
A court ruled the program unconstitutional; the state supreme court has the appeal; money still flows meanwhile. Plan as if the award could pause — because it could.
Monthly-first advice
Unusual for a vendor to say: consider $11.99/month over the annual until the ruling lands. If the program survives, switch to annual and save. We'd rather earn the upgrade than hold your money through uncertainty.
The award already shrank once
Home-based awards were cut from $8,000 to $4,000–6,000 mid-program. Whole-year coverage at a small share of the award limits your exposure to further changes.
The 14-day backstop still applies
If your program declines the expense — or program changes strand a purchase within 14 days — full refund.

Utah questions, answered straight
Should I spend Fits All money on an annual plan right now?
Our honest read: the monthly option carries less risk until the supreme court rules. That's unusual advice from a vendor, and it's still your and your administrator's call — we're stating the uncertainty, not predicting the outcome.
Is JyoLing an approved Fits All vendor?
Utah's program administration has itself been in transition, so our status there is "watching" rather than "applying" — shown honestly, like every status on this site. Card purchases at the identical public price work today.
What happens to my subscription if the program is struck down?
Your JyoLing access doesn't depend on the program — a paid year runs its year. The question is award reimbursement, which is the program's call; the monthly option keeps that exposure to $11.99 at a time.
Award figures are program-published ranges and change by year; eligibility and final expense approval always rest with your program administrator. We keep this page updated, and we never say "approved" before it's true.
